Scout Jam

Dear Scouters,

We have an opportunity to participate in a much larger event than a regular Mt. Nebo District Fall Camporee so we as a District have decided to drop the previously scheduled Fall Camporee in favor of attending the Scout Jam 100 on October 10, 11, 12 at the Wasatch County Events Center in Heber, UT.  This is the same location and same type of activity that we had in 2010 there to celebrate the BSA Centennial and this one will celebrate the Centennial of the LDS-BSA Relationship. 

Some of the exciting events will include:

·        Fireworks

·        Celebrity Entertainment

·        5K Run

·        Scuba

·        Basketball

·        X-Games

·        COPE Course

·        Biathlon

·        Fencing

·        Cycling

·        Soccer 3 on 3

·         PIT21 (to help young Scouts earn their Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class ranks)

AND there will be Merit Badge and Non-Merit Badge Classes for the following:

·        Golf

·        Archery

·        Scuba

·        Shooting

·        Aviation

·        Fishing

·        Climbing

·        Geocaching

·        Inventing

·        Horseback Riding

·        Photography

·        Programming

·        Animation

·        Robotics

·        Railroading

·        Space Exploration

·        Swimming

·        Chemistry

·        Wood Carving

·        Cooking
