Have any of you been to Flaming Gorge for a YM's camp (or other camp)? Do you know of any cool trails etc. that are a must see? I've never been there so it's hard to capture everything via internet photos. I would love any ideas you have about a cool hiking trail or a cool place to visit. Thanks, Rick Biesinger (Foothills)

ALL SCOUTS (11-17) WELCOME
If you’re still in town, come start 2 required merit
badges with some representatives of the BYU Cheer Team. We will break up into 2 groups and rotate @

Law Merit Badge Pow Wow
70 YM just completed the Law Merit Badge on April 27.
We had a lot of fun learning about the law from Dan Roden (history expert and breaker of laws), Brent Winder (Attorney), and Don Davis (Head of Forest Service Law Enforcement for the Mountain Region).
We then participated in a mock trial of The Trix Rabbit. The Rabbit was accused of contract breach by eating his own cereal, which is strictly forbidden and illegal. The prosecution made some great points and introduced some key evidence, including pictures of the crime and testimony from the Rabbit himself. However, the defense won the day by convincing the jury that the box in the pictures was not Trix, but Ritz Crackers.
Thanks to all the fine men who participated and to the YM and their parents for showing up and being gentlemen.

Ty Detmer Comes to Zion Fireside
Thanks to Bishop Auger for setting up such a great opportunity for our fine youth.
Shad Martin addressed some key issues for our youth.
Dustin Smith talked about the responsibility we all have to lift each other, especially when we are in a position of responsibility or praise.
Ty Detmer then discussed his past as a non-member and the Spirit taught many principles during this talk.
Thank you to all the YM/YW who conducted, played the organ, prayed, lead the music, and attended.
What a great group of YM/YW!

I love that the Teacher president was involved. I think we can learn from that example.

Camp Dates
Brethren,
Please post your summer camp dates for the teachers and priests as soon as possible.
We are planning an awesome summer activity for those two groups on one evening during the summer.
We need your dates so that we can plan this activity and get every ward there.
Thank You
Bro Walker
Stake YM Secretary
